About The Position

This role is for an XRay Tech at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. The schedule is PRN with rotating shifts. The XRay Tech will be responsible for positioning patients, selecting appropriate technical parameters, maintaining inventory of supplies, cleaning linens, and ordering/stocking items as needed. They will also maintain accurate records, logs, and reports, and provide education to patients regarding their procedures. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
