Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality radiologic images for accurate medical diagnosis.
- Position patients and select precise exposure factors for optimal imaging.
- Safely administer contrast media and medications within regulatory scopes.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures and report any abnormal activity.
- Maintain equipment functionality and ensure prompt submission of data to PACS.
