About The Position

This role is for an X-Ray Technologist in Diagnostic Radiology at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. The position is full-time, working days, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 0700 to 1900. The technologist will be responsible for positioning patients, selecting appropriate technical parameters, maintaining inventory and supplies, keeping accurate records, educating patients about their procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, clean linens, and other materials. Notify appropriate personnel to order/stock items as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports as required by the department.
• Provide education and instruction to patients regarding their procedure.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
