About The Position

The XRAY / CT Tech performs imaging work using different types of X-ray equipment and CT systems. The role requires working in emergency room, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings, and using PACS and digital systems. The position involves maintaining professional relationships, communicating effectively, providing excellent customer service, protecting confidential patient information, and keeping the work area clean, neat, and safe. The technician follows hospital policies and guidelines and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• AART degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training with registries in Radiologic Medical Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• AART (CT).
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of PACS and digital systems.
• Ability to work with different types of X-ray equipment and CT.
• Ability to work in emergency room, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
• Ability to multitask, make good decisions, handle stressful situations, and work within rigid time constraints.
• Ability to work alone.
