About The Position
The selected candidate will be required to perform arrival condition, in-process and final product inspections as well as witness testing operations. Also responsible for ensuring that all requirements of drawings and procedures are met for specific processes (shipboard, shop, and warehouse). Assist with Quality Improvement Activities. Responsible for performing non-nuclear outfitting inspections on new and existing shipboard components/systems for aircraft carriers and submarines.
Requirements
- Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs
- Must have good communication/writing skills
- Must be able to read/comprehend ship construction drawings, procedures and methods
- Ability to obtain security clearance is required.
Nice To Haves
- High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in the MIP/SHT and outfitting field is preferred.
- The position comes with the potential of travel.
