About The Position

The X-Ray Technologist works in a specialized outpatient orthopedic and spine practice in Nashville, Tennessee, supporting physicians specializing in orthopedic sports medicine, spine care, and minimally invasive treatments. The role performs diagnostic radiographic imaging and assists with fluoroscopic procedures using X-ray and C-arm equipment. It focuses on obtaining high-quality images, ensuring radiation safety, and providing a positive patient experience. The position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule in a collaborative outpatient environment.

Requirements

Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
Experience with diagnostic X-ray and C-arm imaging.
Knowledge of radiation safety and radiographic procedures.
Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Previous outpatient orthopedic, spine, or pain management experience.
Experience assisting with fluoroscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging and assist with fluoroscopic and C-arm procedures.
Prepare patients, equipment, and examination rooms for imaging procedures.
Verify patient information, explain procedures, and position patients accurately.
Operate imaging equipment while following radiation safety protocols.
Review images for technical quality and communicate with treating physicians.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
Clean and maintain imaging equipment, examination rooms, and supplies.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient care.
