About The Position

Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join its outpatient Radiology team. This role is suited to imaging professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care in a collaborative clinical setting. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The position involves performing general radiographic procedures, preparing patients for examinations, operating radiographic equipment, and ensuring image quality and radiation safety. The technologist also maintains patient records and collaborates with radiologists, physicians, and the broader healthcare team.

Requirements

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or an equivalent accredited program.
Current Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.
ARRT certification is mandatory.
Current BLS certification.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety protocols.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Execute general radiographic procedures, including proper patient positioning and optimal image acquisition.
Prepare patients for imaging examinations and verify that physician orders are followed.
Operate radiographic machinery to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols.
Implement radiation safety measures, including appropriate patient shielding.
Review images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission.
Maintain patient records and imaging documentation to support clinical workflows.
Communicate and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the broader healthcare team to enhance patient care.
