Per Diem X-Ray Technologist - Weekdays - Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital We’re seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our team at NYP/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. In this role, you’ll operate imaging equipment to produce radiographs and computer images under the guidance of a radiologist and department supervisor. While this is a technical, non-supervisory position, your expertise will be essential to delivering the highest quality care alongside a world-class clinical team. Location: 3959 Broadway (at 165th Street), New York, NY 10032 Schedule: This per-diem position will provide coverage primarily on weekdays, with opportunities to work day or evening shifts based on department needs. Schedule will be developed on a monthly basis according to department staffing requirements and employee availability. New Graduates Welcome! Temporary license and exam date required prior to start date. NYS Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained within six months of hire. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
  • Ability to maintain all New York State and ARRT continuing education and credential renewal requirements
  • Temporary license and exam date required prior to start date.
  • NYS Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of CT experience
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality specific software
