About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join their team at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. This role involves operating CT equipment and utilizing knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACS, and digital data transfer processes, under the direction of a radiologist and supervision of a department supervisor. While not a supervisory role, the technologist plays a critical part in maintaining quality and assisting with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases. The position is per diem, primarily on weekdays, with opportunities for day or evening shifts based on department needs and monthly scheduling. Employees are expected to live within a commutable distance to New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License with Intravascular Contrast Media Injection
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
Ability to maintain all New York State and ARRT continuing education and credential renewal requirements

Nice To Haves

At least two years of CT experience
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality specific software

Responsibilities
