About The Position

Signature Orthopedics by Sheridan is seeking an X-Ray Technologist (ARRT) to join our newly opened orthopedic clinic in Grand Rapids. This is a unique opportunity to work in a modern, outpatient specialty clinic—without the demands and pace of a large hospital system. You’ll be part of a growing team building workflows and culture from the ground up. This full-time role offers a consistent 4-day workweek with a focus on outpatient orthopedic imaging. You’ll play a key role in supporting efficient clinic operations while delivering a high-quality patient experience.

Requirements

• ARRT registered (or registry eligible) required
• Michigan licensure as required
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a clinic setting

Nice To Haves

• Previous X-ray or radiology experience preferred
• Orthopedic imaging experience a plus (not required)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging for orthopedic patients
• Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures clearly
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper imaging techniques
• Maintain image quality and adhere to radiology standards
• Document imaging studies accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support patient flow
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe imaging areas
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
