About The Position

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The role involves preparing patients, operating radiologic equipment, and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician (REQUIRED)
• Graduate of a JCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T)
• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Proficient in diagnostic imaging procedures
• Knowledge of radiation safety and exposure techniques
• Attention to detail and quality-focused
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
• Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure patient comfort and reduce anxiety by explaining procedures
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Maintain image quality and make necessary adjustments as needed
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Monitor and maintain radiology equipment; report issues as needed
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines
• Maintain inventory of radiology supplies
• Participate in continuing education and maintain certifications
