Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain quality standards and patient safety
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by positioning and explaining the process
- Operate radiographic equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images
- Use immobilization devices and ensure proper patient positioning
- Apply radiation safety measures to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Follow established infection control policies and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a safe, clean, and effective working environment
