About The Position
The XRAY TECH position requires a skilled professional to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The role involves working with patients to ensure accurate and high-quality X-ray images, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This position is for a traveler with a specific shift schedule and contract duration.
Requirements
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
- Current BCLS (AHA) and ARRT certification required.
- Current IEMA license required.
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- Fluoroscopy experience required.
- Emergency Department (ED) and Operating Room (OR) experience.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Ensure accurate and high-quality X-ray images.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
- Work with patients to obtain necessary imaging.
- Experience in Emergency Department (ED) and Operating Room (OR) settings is required.
