About The Position
This position requires a minimum of two years of experience as a radiologic technologist. The technologist must demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in operating radiographic equipment, functioning independently without supervision. A strong understanding of radiation safety and protocols is essential. The role involves providing 'flex' coverage at various facilities, including HBMC, Kau Hospital, and Keaau Clinic, with different shift structures and on-call responsibilities. The traveler must arrive on the island the Friday prior to their Monday start for HR/EH clearance appointments. There is no guarantee of hours or requested time off.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years as a radiologic technologist
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the operation of radiographic equipment
- Ability to function independently without supervision
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
- Must have dosimeter badge
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
