About The Position
We are seeking an X-Ray Tech with at least 1 year of recent experience to join our Radiology Department at Auburn Community Hospital. This role involves adult outpatient and acute care imaging, including bedside/portable imaging. The facility performs a broad range of diagnostic imaging services. This position offers guaranteed hours of 36 per week, with potential for call-offs per agreement. First-time travelers are welcome.
Requirements
- 1 year of RECENT X-Ray Tech experience.
- Adult Acute Care experience.
- Adult Outpatient Imaging experience.
- Bedside/Portable Procedures experience.
- General diagnostic radiography experience.
- Experience with PACS.
- Knowledge of Isolation precautions/PPE.
- Required anatomy and orthopedic imaging competencies (extremities, spine, skull, chest, abdomen, C-arm procedures, etc.).
- ARRT (R) certification.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- Active license/registration required prior to start.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Allscripts charting.
Responsibilities
- Perform bedside/portable imaging.
- Operate PACS imaging system.
- Adhere to isolation precautions/PPE.
- Perform general diagnostic radiography.
- Conduct required anatomy and orthopedic imaging competencies (extremities, spine, skull, chest, abdomen, C-arm procedures, etc.).
- Float within scope to meet facility needs as needed within Radiology.
