About The Position
The X-Ray Tech will work at an acute hospital that is a Magnet facility and Level II trauma center. The facility has 407 staffed beds. The position is a 13-week assignment with 3x12-hour day shifts and an ASAP start date. The clinician may float within their scope to the ED, OR, and portable imaging. Weekend work is required, and on-call is not required. Travelers may be called off for one 12-hour shift per two weeks; guaranteed hours are 60 per two weeks. The facility provides scrubs and free parking and uses Epic for charting.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- Local candidates are not accepted; the candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray technology duties according to facility protocols.
- Float within scope to the ED, OR, and portable imaging as facility needs require.
