About The Position

This is an X-Ray Tech position in Radiology/Cardiology. The shift is 5x8s, Monday to Friday, from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. On-call is required, with minimal weekend requirements only on an on-call basis (rotation). This role does not require floating between like units or sister facilities. First-timers are accepted, and 1 year of experience is required. The position requires BLS, ARRT (R), and SCQRSA certifications, along with a radiation badge provided by the agency. C-arm and fluoro experience are preferred. Block schedules may be accommodated with manager approval, dependent on unit needs. Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis at a 10% reduced bill rate. All RTO must be included at the time of submission, and approval is based on facility needs. The facility allows calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks. This is an acute care hospital. Scrubs should be black or teal. Charting is done via EPIC and Sectra PACS. Parking is available and free with a distributed parking pass. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Requirements

• 1 Year of experience as an X-Ray Tech.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• SCQRSA certification.
• Radiation badge (provided by agency).
• Ability to work 5x8s shifts, Mon-Fri, 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.
• Willingness to be on-call.
• Understanding of hurricane season emergency response assignments.
