About The Position

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients in an ambulatory setting, within the scope of demonstrated competency, under the direction of a qualified physician. Performs chest, abdominal, extremity, and spine radiological imaging studies, including operation of equipment, development of films, and preparation of patient room and equipment under the direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist. Provides clinical support, including documentation and duties such as managing IV lines and lab work. Rad Assistant applicants seeking student technologist roles must be currently enrolled and have completed 2 semesters of formal education accredited by the ARRT. Non-student tech roles require 2 years of patient care management experience.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled and have completed 2 semesters of formal education accredited by the ARRT (for Rad Assistant applicants seeking student technologist roles).
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• IV certification preferred or certified within 90 days
• No experience required

Responsibilities
