About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time X-Ray Radiology Technologist for Christian Hospital in St. Louis, MO. This role involves performing general imaging radiographic procedures on adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, either 4 days per week with 10-hour shifts or 5 days per week with 8-hour shifts, with various start times and rotating weekends and holidays. The Radiology Department is equipped with DR & PAC's technology and serves patients from infant to late adulthood.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• Radiology Technologist - Reg

Nice To Haves

• GI & Surgery / procedures experience
• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
• Performing Imaging Studies (Gen Rad, G.I., O.R.)
