X-Ray/CT Technologist - Radiology
About The Position
Bingham Healthcare is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated X-Ray/CT Technologist to join their growing Radiology team. The technologist will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide essential diagnostic imaging services. Requirements
- Graduate of, or eligible to graduate from, a recognized and approved Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification required, or registry eligible with certification pending.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in positioning patients for diagnostic imaging.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate radiographic and CT equipment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital imaging systems.
- Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-focused and compassionate.
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, accurate, and compassionate diagnostic imaging services.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and reducing anxiety.
- Perform diagnostic imaging using general radiography, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray units, C-arms, and CT equipment.
- Position patients appropriately based on their condition, physical abilities, and examination requirements.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Process and manage diagnostic images accurately.
- Review images for quality and completeness, making adjustments as necessary.
- Review patient charts and clinical information to identify potential contraindications or concerns.
- Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including exam orders, paperwork, and fiscal responsibilities.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families.
- Maintain equipment and imaging areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
- Ensure appropriate supplies are available for procedures.
- Follow all radiation safety and hospital policies.
- Complete required training and competency checklists for new equipment and technology.
- Participate in continuing education and maintain current knowledge of imaging practices and technology.
