About The Position

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an X-Ray/Fluoro Technologist to provide services to patients and referring specialists in accordance with professional standards. The technologist maintains positive working relationships with radiologists and other referring physicians and performs radiographic procedures, including work with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures. This is a part-time position working 10 hours per week, on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The pay range is $32.39–$42.03, based on direct and relevant experience.

Requirements

Current ARRT registration in good standing.
Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved school of radiography.
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently.

Responsibilities

Produce diagnostic images in the assigned area.
Perform assigned quality-control tasks.
Promote positive customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and other company personnel.
Maintain an orderly and clean work area to support safety for patients and coworkers.
Maintain accurate patient records in the Radiologic Information System (RIS).
Use a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures.
Participate in staff meetings with employee involvement.
Assist in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual.
Answer department phone calls.
Perform other duties as assigned.
