X-RAY / CT TECH - FT
About The Position
This position requires the ability to operate various types of x-ray and CT equipment, with proficiency in PACS and digital systems. The role involves working in diverse medical settings including emergency rooms, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical environments. The ideal candidate must be adept at multitasking, decision-making, managing stressful situations, and working under strict time constraints. Maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and medical staff, adhering to hospital policies, and ensuring patient record confidentiality are crucial. The role also includes keeping the work area clean, safe, and organized, and the ability to work independently. Following all hospital policies and guidelines and performing assigned duties are essential.
Requirements
- AART degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training with registries in Radiologic Medical Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- AART(CT).
- BLS required.
Responsibilities
- Work with different types of x-ray equipment and CT.
- Be knowledgeable with PACS and digital systems.
- Work within an emergency room, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical setting.
