About The Position

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a WWLD Utility Operator on 1st Shift (Monday - Friday). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations. Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Three months to one year of experience operating machinery and equipment.
Ability to accurately interpret specifications.
Ability to stand during entire shift.
Ability to handle and lift up to 20 pounds.
Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Responsibilities

Fill in at several operations as needed due to dictating workload, vacations, or sick leave. These operations include but are not limited to printing, coating, and tinning.
Receive order from material handler. Assure that print stamp is correct and prints parts per appropriate specification.
Receive order from material handler. Coat order on appropriate coater as directed by the appropriate specification.
Receive order from material handler. Tin and wash parts per appropriate specifications.
Complete and sign necessary paperwork.
Clean machines and work area as necessary.
