About The Position

We’re seeking for a WSO (Wall Street Office) /Geneva Accounting Integration Consultant for a 10-month contract to help support the integration of the WSO subledger into Geneva from an accounting and financial reporting perspective. This role will focus on accounting design, setup standards, onboarding, reconciliations, testing, and issue analysis, and will work closely with teams across Finance, Operations, and Technology. The ideal person will bring a mix of accounting knowledge, systems implementation experience, and strong project coordination skills. They’ll help drive requirements, support testing and issue resolution, track key milestones, and assist with go-live. They’ll also support the onboarding and migration of products into WSO, including accounting treatment, reporting needs, and control considerations.

Requirements

  • Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial operations, fund accounting, portfolio accounting, or similar functions
  • Hands-on experience with the Geneva Portfolio Accounting System, including running RSL reports for positions, cash, P&L, and related reporting
  • Experience or strong familiarity with WSO (Wall Street Office) and its use as a subledger within an investment accounting environment
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycles, financial products, and portfolio/accounting concepts, including valuations, accruals, reconciliations, and P&L
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing timelines, deliverables, cross-functional coordination, testing, and issue resolution through implementation and go-live
  • Experience supporting accounting, operational, or system implementation initiatives in a control-focused, time-sensitive environment
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to investigate issues and provide clear, actionable conclusions
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas for reconciliations and ad hoc analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project and workflow tools such as JIRA and Confluence for documenting requirements, testing, and changes
  • Experience in asset management, hedge funds, private credit, or other investment management environments
  • Prior exposure to product onboarding, accounting controls, and implementation testing

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the WSO subledger into Geneva with a focus on accounting and financial reporting
  • Work with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to compile business and accounting requirements, define testing steps, and establish go-live criteria
  • Support new product onboarding workflows, including setup review, accounting impact assessment, testing, and production readiness
  • Document setup standards, data flows, accounting treatments, and control procedures related to WSO and Geneva integration
  • Review and analyze transaction flows, positions, cash activity, accruals, valuations, reconciliations, and P&L behavior within Geneva
  • Respond to and investigate ad hoc requests from Finance teams by researching data, system configurations, and accounting behaviors within Geneva and related workflows
  • Assist with reconciliation design and exception analysis across WSO, Geneva, and downstream accounting/reporting processes
  • Support UAT, validation, issue tracking, and implementation follow-up to ensure accounting requirements are met
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify process gaps, control issues, and opportunities for standardization and improvement
