About The Position

Eureka Union School District is seeking a Wrestling Coach for 7th and 8th grade at Cavitt Jr. High School. The coach should have knowledge of wrestling coaching theory and techniques and the rules and regulations of wrestling, as well as competence in adolescent psychology, athletic-injury care and prevention, basic sports-injury first aid, and emergency procedures. Candidates must have no prior convictions related to unfitness to associate with children and must be free from contagious diseases. The successful candidate must complete DOJ clearance and pre-employment online training. Eureka Union School District serves approximately 3,500 TK–8th grade students in Granite Bay and Roseville, California. Requirements

Knowledge of wrestling coaching theory and techniques.
Knowledge of wrestling rules and regulations.
Knowledge and competence in adolescent psychology.
Knowledge and competence in the care and prevention of athletic injuries.
Knowledge and competence in basic sports-injury first aid and emergency procedures.
No prior convictions related to unfitness to associate with children.
Must be free from contagious diseases.

TB clearance is required.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training Certificate is required.
Concussion in Sports Training Certificate is required.
