About The Position

Fruitport Community Schools is seeking a Wrestling Coach for the Athletic Department at Fruitport Middle School. The coach works with and supports the head coach in leading and instructing the entire program, with a focus on player development, leadership, and character. The role involves contributing to program assessment and improvement during and outside the season, and interacting professionally and with integrity with student athletes and adults.

Requirements

• Maintain positive rapport with athletes.
• Have working knowledge of and support for the goals of the program and school.
• Be capable of identifying and solving problems related to technique and tactics of the sport.
• Handle interactions with student athletes and adults with professionalism and integrity.
• Be able to balance personal and professional duties with coaching duties.
• Have coaching experience and/or playing experience at the secondary school level or higher.
• Be recommended by the head coach.

Responsibilities
