About The Position
ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking a Wrecker/Rollback Driver-DOT to join their Transportation/Logistics team. This role is responsible for the pickup and delivery of customer vehicles. ADESA operates over 50 locations across the US, with Vehicle Service & Logistics Centers that offer a wide array of vehicle services. The company emphasizes a collaborative "we" culture and is experiencing significant expansion.
Requirements
- High School or GED required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Must be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmissions
- Effective customer relations, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and a background check
- Must be 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Previous DOT driving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver customer vehicles
- Load and unload customer vehicles
- Prioritize safe driving and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana’s Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver Qualification Policy.
- Complete condition reports and complete paperwork related to the pick up and delivery of the vehicle
- Communicate with customers to verify vehicle information and condition of vehicles
- Maintain good flow of communication with all team members and practice good teamwork
- Inspect the wrecker or rollback to ensure the vehicle maintains good maintenance and safe driving conditions
