About The Position

Piedmont Candy Company is hiring Machine Operators to join our growing 2nd shift production team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. No prior experience with our specific machinery is required, we’re looking for reliable individuals who are detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Requirements

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment
• Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing quality product
• Inspect product for quality, consistency, and packaging accuracy
• Identify and report equipment or production issues
• Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work closely with team members to keep production running smoothly
