Wraparound Supervisor/Facilitator Coach

About The Position

Directly supports the high-fidelity Wraparound program by providing feedback to recognize strengths and build skill competence, and routine consultation to ensure direct service staff can consistently demonstrate the Wraparound process with fidelity. The coach uses a variety of strategies to support direct service staff in how to work with children, youth and parents in a team process, through modeling, group and individual coaching, documentation review as well as other methods that build knowledge, effective skills, and increased fidelity. The coach models the Wraparound principals, standards, and practical application of the philosophy, and has the demonstrated skills required to serve as a mastery level high fidelity practitioner they are coaching. The Coach continually assesses workforce skills, providing feedback and creating development plans using continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts to improve common workforce skill deficits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Education, Public/Business Administration, Communications, or a discipline appropriate to the training being conducted.
  • At least four (4) years' experience working with the target population and/or High-Fidelity Wraparound program and supervision. Lived experience can count for two (2) of the four (4) years required experience.
  • Must have current Wraparound Facilitator Certification from the New Mexico Credentialing Board for Behavioral Health Professionals (NMCBBHP) and Coach Endorsement or ability to be approved to become a Coach in Training (CIT).
  • Obtain the Coach Endorsement within 6 months from being accepted in the CIT track.
  • Maintain Coaching Endorsement, reviewed every 2 years at Wraparound Recertification.
  • Coaching and workforce development experience in behavioral health field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and management skills.
  • Excellent training and group facilitation skills.
  • Maintain a valid and unrestricted NM Driver’s License
  • Must pass NM CYFD fingerprint clearance check to maintain employment.
  • Must pass and maintain a Driving Record clearance in accordance with GCLC policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to use personal vehicle over the course of employment.
  • Maintain valid and sufficient personal automobile insurance (100/300/100).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Education, Public/Business Administration, Communications, or a discipline appropriate to the training being conducted.
  • At least two (2) years' experience working with the target population and/or High-Fidelity Wraparound program and supervision. Lived experience can count for one (1) of the two (2) years required experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) both verbal and written.
  • Ability to learn new information and apply it to Wraparound coaching and technical assistance.
  • Strong critical thinking skills that aid in assessing strengths and weaknesses of approaches to problems and the viability of various solutions.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to present information concisely.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a professional, ethical, and respectful way.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Wraparound Facilitators to implement the NM High-Fidelity Wraparound model including, but not limited to: Assure that all families enrolled are reviewed at least twice per month.
  • Utilize all NMHFW Forms, tools, documentation, protocols.
  • NM High-Fidelity Wraparound FIT track, CIT track and Wraparound re-certification
  • Timely program evaluation and data collection
  • Adhere to internal agency expectations.
  • Attend all coaching sessions of High-Fidelity Wraparound Staff
  • Maintain Coaching Prep Form / Log indicating frequency of coaching per family.
  • Conduct ongoing NM High Fidelity Wraparound specific, outreach, and training to educate local system partners, consumers, and stakeholders as to the NM High Fidelity Wraparound model/process, eligibility and fit for referral considerations.
  • Attend NM High Fidelity Provider meetings as scheduled by CYFD-BHS
  • Provide individual and group coaching and technical assistance.
  • Provide side by side coaching in the Wraparound practice.
  • Provide technical assistance to address systemic barriers.
  • Develop facilitators to competency.
  • Have familiarity with the NM Wraparound CARES training curriculum.
  • Be able to train the NM Wraparound CARES training curriculum.
  • Attend all periodic coaching consultations.
