Responsible for assistant of operation and maintenance of water treatment relative issue.
Requirements
Completed at least 2 years college courses and major in Health, Safety and Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities
Collect industrial water samples from all cooling towers (BOPP, IBS, XF, and PVC) and perform water analysis such as PH, Free Chlorine, Phosphate, Iron, Conductivity and Alkalinity.
Adjust chemical used in cooling towers such as Acid, Bleach, Corrosion inhibitor, and dispersant.
Collect samples from chill water system of all plants and perform chemical analysis such as PH, Conductivity, Iron, Bacteria and Nitrite.
Adjust chemical used in chill water system such as corrosion inhibitor.
Fire water system operation weekly test and monitor.
Industrial water system operation at Utility, adjust polymer and bleach feed rate. Clarifier operation and make filer press cake. Back wash industrial water sand filters.
Pure water system operation R.O. machine operation and maintenance. Back wash R.O. membrane.
Assistant Utility's technician to perform drinking water and waste water operation such as change out drinking water filter and equipment preventative maintenance work.
Assist Utility's engineer to prepare documents for Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) audit.
