WORK PROGRAM/STUDENT
About The Position
To gain exposure to US manufacturing processes as an Assistant Software Engineer through a one-year internship program. This role involves learning existing project procedures, completing installation guides and SOP documents, and learning basic programming and database skills. The intern will use the troubleshooting log to resolve similar project issues, complete project sub-functions development and field testing, and collect project requirements and development documentation. Ultimately, the intern will use learned skills to develop a database application or web function with full maintenance documentation.
Requirements
- Must be a current college student enrolled in the Electronic Engineering field
- Fluent in English communication required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office required
- Familiar with VB.NET and SQL syntax in MySQL required
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Nice To Haves
- Familiar with web development, and other programming language preferred
