About The Position

Avalon Care Center Federal Way is hiring a full-time Wound Nurse (RN) for its skilled nursing facility specializing in short-term rehabilitation. The role coordinates wound care and skin management, develops individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team, assesses wounds and monitors healing, and educates residents, families, and staff. The nurse collaborates with physicians and other healthcare providers and maintains accurate documentation in accordance with nursing standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday on the day shift, with pay of $50.00–$56.99 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements

• Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Knowledge of infection control principles and nursing best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
• Ability to adapt to changing resident and facility needs.

Responsibilities
