About The Position

Beauvais Rehab and Healthcare is seeking a Wound Nurse to join their team. This role involves providing direct nursing care, completing wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with wound care providers. The position also includes educating staff on wound care and prevention, medication administration, documentation, and overseeing residents' care.

Requirements

One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Some wound care experience preferred.
Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
Medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents' care, and implementation of schedules for residents.
