About The Position

Prepares rooms, stocks supplies and linens, rooms and transports patients, and assists provider with treatment procedures. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for patients. The position is located in the Wound Clinic and operates on a PRN basis, with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements

• Must be able to work the hours specified.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
• High School or GED Equivalent or 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum Age Requirements 18.

Responsibilities

• Casts and assists with wound vac placement and removal.
• Transfers patients to wheelchairs and stretchers using mechanical lifts.
• Rooms patients.
• Answers call lights, prepares patients for treatment, and assists with room turnover.
• Transports patients to other areas of the hospital as directed.
• Assists with inventory, supply order, entering data into tracking systems, and preparing educational materials.
• Assists in end of day cleaning and transporting equipment to centralized sterilization.
