About The Position

Vista Specialty Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Wound Care RN Nurse. This role involves implementing policies, procedures, and standards of care related to patient wound care needs. The nurse will provide direct patient care, assist staff nurses, and serve as a consultative resource for wound care to clinical staff. Wound care functions will be performed under the oversight of a Wound Care Coordinator.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Nursing Program.
• Registered Nurse in the state of facility location.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two (2) years nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Must be able to work Sundays --- Hours are 7 am - 7:30 pm.

Nice To Haves

• BSN Preferred.
• Two (2) years nursing experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Implements policies and procedures, along with standards of care and practice related to patient care needs involving various types of wounds.
• Provides direct patient care and assistance to staff nurses.
• Acts as consultative service regarding wound care to clinical staff.
• Performs wound care functions under the oversight of a Wound Care Coordinator.
