Requirements

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
BLS (current upon hire).
Current Florida RN license.
Five years’ experience in acute patient care.
Demonstrates strong leadership, education to Patient and Nurses, written and verbal and communication skills.
Basic computer and data entry skills required.

Wound Care Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility and accountability for inpatient skin and wound care management.
Coordinates clinical services to provide consistent quality care for patients with wounds in the inpatient setting.
Collaborates with physicians, outpatient and inpatient health care professionals and staff employed and affiliated with WRMC.
Works within the framework of the Florida Nurse Practice Act and follows all hospital policies and procedures.
