Wound Care Physician - Richmond, VA
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Full-time schedules are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., working 4–5 days per week; part-time opportunities are available with a minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week. The role has no call and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Employment is W-2, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
- Commit to working at least 3 weekdays per week.
