About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians are W2 employees and earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The practice involves delivering modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, visit 2-3 facilities per day, and treat approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is done in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.
