Wound Care Physician - Peekskill, NY
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The group offers physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to ensure clinical excellence. Physicians can expect an average annual earning of $300,000 for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The practice focuses on modern wound management in post-acute care settings like Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, followed by a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract position.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.
