Wound Care Physician - Cooperstown, NY
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Wound Care Physician to provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The group provides physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, equipping physicians with the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. Physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The practice is mobile, with physicians visiting 2-3 facilities per day within a 40-60 mile radius and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, followed by a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract position.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
