About The Position

The Wound Care Physician will become an expert in wound management, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The role offers physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, providing all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.
