Wound Care Physician - North Kingstown, RI
About The Position
The Wound Care Physician will become an expert in wound management, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The role offers physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, providing the necessary knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, plus a 6-month wound care fellowship. This is a W2 employment contract position, and work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each assigned facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
