About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Wound Care Physician for a role offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. This position involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The group provides comprehensive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship to ensure clinical excellence. Physicians are W2 employees, earning an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities daily to treat 20-30 patients. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
