About The Position

The Wound Care Physician will become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. This role utilizes cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The position offers physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, providing the necessary knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship. The practice is mobile, with physicians visiting facilities in a 40-60 mile radius, seeing 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is done at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
