About The Position
Adams Place is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join their team. This role focuses on the prevention, assessment, and treatment of wounds, pressure injuries, ostomies, and skin integrity concerns. The Wound Care Nurse will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and educate staff, residents, and families on best practices for wound prevention and healing.
Requirements
- Current RN or LPN license in Tennessee
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- A team player with a passion for resident-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Wound care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and treat wounds and skin conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Lead pressure injury prevention initiatives
- Educate staff on wound care best practices and infection prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing teams to achieve optimal outcomes
- Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
