About The Position
This is a contract role for a Certified Wound Care Nurse in a clinic setting located in Fort Defiance, AZ. The position involves assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients with various wound and ostomy needs. The nurse will provide comprehensive care and education to patients and their families regarding the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of supplies and equipment for optimal wound and ostomy management.
Requirements
- Mandatory Wound Care Certification
- Minimum 3-Years Experience
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS (preferred)
- Wound Care Certification

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement care for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, acute and/or chronic wounds.
- Provide comprehensive care and teaching to patients and their families/significant others regarding the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure optimal wound and ostomy care.
