About The Position
A privately owned dermatology practice in northern Oregon is hiring a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide expert wound management and patient-centered care. The role includes assessing wounds, creating evidence-based treatment plans, performing debridement and specialized procedures, educating patients, collaborating with dermatologists, and maintaining electronic records. Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Proficiency in wound assessment and debridement techniques.
- Experience with advanced dressings and dermatological wound conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration.
- Active state Nurse Practitioner license.
- DEA registration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough wound assessments.
