About The Position

Wound Care Advantage is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for their USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Wound Care Program. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Monday, Thursday, and Friday. New graduates are welcome to apply. There is no requirement to be on call, or work nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• Current state license to practice as an LVN
• Must maintain current provider CPR certification throughout employment

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of LVN experience, a PLUS if it is in Wound Care (but not required)
• ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and personalized patient care.
• Responsible for patient safety, physical assessments, clinical documentation, treatment plans, continuous communication with clinical staff, tracking of outcomes, and patient education.
• Assume responsibility for providing quality and timely care for all patients.
• Enable the team of providers to make appropriate decisions to develop, implement and evaluate a plan of care.
• Demonstrate professionalism and leadership.
• Collaborate with other professionals.
• Comply with the policies and procedures of the wound care program.
