Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Wound Care Institute of Tarpon Springs is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Florida-licensed LPN or RN to join their growing wound care and hyperbaric medicine team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced providers and healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering advanced wound healing therapies and exceptional patient care. The role involves providing direct patient care for individuals with acute and chronic wounds, assisting with wound assessments, treatments, and care planning, and supporting hyperbaric oxygen therapy services and patient monitoring. The nurse will also educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and clinical staff, maintain accurate documentation, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Current Florida LPN or RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience
- Passion for wound care, healing, and patient advocacy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in wound care, hyperbaric medicine, vascular, surgical, or outpatient clinical settings
- Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWON, CWCN, CHRN) preferred - willingness to obtain certification
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for individuals with acute and chronic wounds
- Assist with wound assessments, treatments, and care planning
- Support hyperbaric oxygen therapy services and patient monitoring
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and wound management
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to promote optimal healing outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Deliver outstanding customer service while fostering a positive patient experience
