About The Position

Under general supervision and following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, the Wound and Ostomy Clinician provides nursing services to individuals for wound, ostomy, and skin assessment and care. The clinician educates clinical professionals and patients on pressure injury prevention, ostomy and fistula management, and wound care by sharing professional expertise and guidance. The role performs duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Wound care certification (WCC and/or WOCN) required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a residency.
• One or more years of wound care experience.

Responsibilities
